Cemetery Clean Up - 1st week of March

Reminder - foundations are poured 2 times a year (May and October)

News
One of the best maintained cemetery properties in Butler County became even more pleasing this past fall, with the installation of new fencing.

The former chain link fence was replaced with new maintenance free, cast iron like black fencing. Each section of fence, 7 feet in length, is of heavy durable plastic material. Will never warp, rust or require painting.

Cost of the fencing project, near $28,000.00, was made possible by contributions received through the efforts of Mrs. Charles Stempley and a very sizeable legacy gift by the family of Mrs. Sudie Flick. Mrs. Flick and her husband were lifetime residents of New Miami.

Hickory Flat Cemetery plots can be purchase at any time, through the St. Clair Township Administration Office. Prices for graves is $800.00 per grave site, whether a resident or out of township. These prices are near the lowest in Butler County. Pre-purchase of graves is wise, as prices will surely increase as cemetery maintenance and equipment costs increase.
